We are finally in the holy land! After a long plane ride, we were greeted by all the Israeli students and their parents with much anticipated excitement and joy. We went to one of the Israeli student's home for a welcome falafel party where all the kids and parents were able to introduce each other. The children played some mixer games to get to know each other and before we knew it they had all gone together to a play room to hang out. It was very clear that it was time for the adults to leave!!!!
Tonight all the kids will head to their perspective homes to shower, unpack and rest up a little bit to get acclimated with the time change. Tomorrow each family will spend time together during their free day and we will come back together on Sunday morning at school. Please take a look at the pictures from our flight and arrival and come back again on Sunday for more updates from our journey.
